Character and interests
I consider myself an active and curious woman. I have been a college professor, teaching literature, for 16 years, and I love what I do, but I also enjoy a change in scenery. That’s why I look forward to start a new chapter in my life by settling in a new place. The timing is perfect now that my two boys are gone to college, and I'm an empty-nester. I have always been fascinated by moving and experiencing different cultures, which is why I have lived in several countries: France, Austria, Italy, Israel, Latvia, Colorado, and Florida. As a professor, I have taught in different languages and in different countries. Outside of work, I enjoy active hobbies: cycling, skiing, sledding (Austria and Switzerland have the best sledding slopes in the world!), zip-lining, kayaking or paddleboarding, hiking in the mountains (last year, I did Macchu Picchu and Vinicunca in Peru), sailing, hang-gliding, scuba diving ( I have my PADI).I dream of finding a partner that I could share the joys of an active and adventurous lifestyle with.

I am looking for a life partner, someone seeking a companion for a lifetime and not just “to see where it goes.” There is a lot of fun to be had in life, and it's definitely more fun when shared with a partner.
