Regarding the place of stay, Kharkov is a big city, but nevertheless peaceful and pleasant. There are many interesting places to visit (beautiful parks, museums, three superb cathedrals, and even the surprise, in this place far from the sea, of a remarkable dolphinarium). The restaurant options are impressive, from the point of view of the latest decor or cuisine, and are of the quality standard of those of a European city, but at much more attractive prices.
